Located on Fazenda São Paulo, in the municipality of Cruz do Espírito Santo, on the floodplains of the Paraíba River, 28 kilometres from João Pessoa, the capital of the state of Paraíba, Engenho São Paulo began its activities at the beginning of the 20th century, producing mainly brown sugar, honey and rapadura.
